About us

Lexville Cares is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting cancer patients in Ghana through comprehensive services that address every step of their journey.  Our mission is to ensure that no one loses their life to cancer due to financial limitations, equipment failures, or limited access to healthcare. We firmly believe that cancer should not be a death sentence, and we are committed to dispelling the myths and misconceptions that surround it. Our aim is a future where every Ghanaian has access to equitable cancer care, regardless of their financial situation or location. By working together, we hope to redefine the fight against cancer in Ghana, creating hope and opportunities for better outcomes.

What we do

Our Cancer Support Initiative is focused on raising awareness, improving access to quality care, providing financial and emotional support for patients and their families. Patient Navigation services – From the day of diagnosis, we offer patient navigation services, providing essential information, counselling, and financial aid to ensure patients can access the care they need.   Advocacy – At Lexville Cares, advocacy is at the core of our work. We collaborate with key stakeholders to improve the availability and accessibility of cancer treatment options across the country. Sensitisation – Additionally, we work to educate communities and combat cultural and religious myths about cancer, stressing the importance of early detection and appropriate medical treatment.

Mission

Our mission is to provide comprehensive support and patient navigation services to ensure equitable access to cancer care in Ghana. We aim to reduce cancer-related deaths by overcoming barriers such as financial limitations, equipment breakdowns, and limited access to medical facilities, while actively working to demystify misconceptions about cancer.

Vision

Our vision is to create a future where no one in Ghana dies from cancer due to lack of access to treatment, and where cancer is no longer feared as a death sentence but is understood, diagnosed early, and treated effectively.
